A short consultation for children and teenagers under the age of 16 (normally £71 for 40 minutes). This includes an orthodontic assessment and a brief discussion of potential treatment. An excellent solution if you are not sure if your child is ready for treatment, if you want to investigate private options without paying for a full consultation or if you want to know if they fit the NHS criteria before going onto a waiting list elsewhere. An additional appointment (plus the rest of the consultation fee) will be needed before any actual treatment as the offer does not include x-rays, photographs or study models.

Orthodontic Treatments

For younger patients we often (but not always) advise waiting until the adult teeth are through before carrying out orthodontic treatment. We are more than happy carry out initial examinations when patients still have a mixture of adult and baby teeth, as sometimes this can help to plan for future orthodontic treatment.
