The Dentistry Awards 2008

In December 2008 we were proud to be short-listed for Best Practice for the North East and Yorkshire in the Dentistry Awards. Orthodontist Megan and dental nurses Michelle and Emma attended a circus-themed award ceremony in Leicester. Sadly we didn't win, but were really pleased to have been short-listed in what turned out to be the strongest contested category (the winners also won the overall UK prize). We also had a fabulous evening out at the dental equivalent of the Oscars.

This follows on from our 2007 success in winning a website award in 2007 and being shortlisted for Best Specialist Practice in the Private Dentistry Awards in the same year.

Needless to say we are delighted to be among the best in the country, and will keep on trying hard to go one better!

Orthodontic Treatments

General dental work may be required before any orthodontic treatment to ensure you are dentally fit. For younger patients we often (but not always) advise waiting until the adult teeth are through before carrying out orthodontic treatment. We are more than happy carry out initial examinations when patients still have a mixture of adult and baby teeth, as sometimes this can help to plan for future orthodontic treatment.
