Russell had two upper teeth extracted to make space and then fixed upper and lower braces to straighten the teeth.

Typical teenager treatment

 

This treatment involved two extractions from the upper jaw, and upper and lower fixed braces for 12 months.

Adult treatment

Orthodontic Treatments

General dental work may be required before any orthodontic treatment to ensure you are dentally fit. For younger patients we often (but not always) advise waiting until the adult teeth are through before carrying out orthodontic treatment. We are more than happy carry out initial examinations when patients still have a mixture of adult and baby teeth, as sometimes this can help to plan for future orthodontic treatment.
